you gotta ask ICAO about this...
anyway, what the people before me said this: if the country is
trying to play the citizen out, they can say that the passport is
not valid anymore and therefore the guy is not a citizen... the
country which let the guy in is now, under international law,
responsible for the guy..
6 months is a good period of time which will allow any country to
throw the guy out and return him to the country of his citizenship
if they need to...
